Collaboration 2009....

TIME FOR AN APP: Add Elie Tahari to the list of companies embracing the marketing and commercial opportunities presented by the iPhone. Next month, Tahari will launch a free iPhone application that will enable users to see looks from the fall 2009 runway, swipe or flip them for details, and navigate online shop where to purchase the pieces. “We are exploring nontraditional marketing strategies to maximize our presence, reach the discerning Elie Tahari customer and create an efficient, green and profitable platform for the future,” said Rory Tahari, the designer’s wife and vice president of the company.

Now-you-see-it, Now-you-don't

All eyes were on the bust for this Fall. That is, when they weren't on the legs or the midriff. Alot of them played a game of now-you-see-it, now-you-don't peekaboo.

Have-TO-Have-IT

BALMAIN(top) ARMAND BASI(bottom)

Designers offered plenty on the Fall runways, from sex-kittenish dresses to the season's must-have topper—the biker jacket. Designers went wild for zipped toppers this season.

Its something worth investing in....

My fashion fantasy....

Big shoulders, tight minis, high boots... just some of the highlights of A/W 09. Ive picked a few key peices of the season that i would like to see in my closet.
House of Balmain was sizzling hot on the runways and Christophe Decarnin is the man behind the vision. This is my new favorite fashion visionary for the season!

London's summer is much awaited for. Step out in chiffon and comfy bright coloured pumps!!
Love Lanvin!!!

Do you have days like these???

Yesterday, I woke up 2 hrs early. Wash, blow dry and set my hair. Spent atleast 30 min , if not an hr, trying out my 'look' for the day. Finish it off with an intense makeup session.

Today, I wake up an hour early, lazy around a bit, decide its time to dress, pull on my jeans with my regular. Since i wake up in a crappy mood, i wear just kohl.

Who knows tomorow, i might just jump out of bed, realise im running late, throw on whats laying around -jeans, fresh-from-wash-unironed tee, yesterdays socks with sneakers. Sorry no time for hair and makeup!!! Who cares!! Just-out-of-bed hair is a look rite???

Its hard trying to look all beautiful and perfect everyday. Sometimes its ok to dress down and show the carefree side to your style. I love looking different everyday. Step out looking polished and high maintained or scruffy.

Thats why i love english fashion. You can get away with alot.

False lashes, hair extentions and then some...

Im sure you've noticed the woman sitting next to you? Does she have makeup pancaked onto her face? False lashes with loads of mascara? A big hairdo and probably hair extentions as well? All thanks to the likes of VB and Katie Price, ladies now know how to look plastic. But atleast they have class that money can buy and places where they can go to with that look. What about an ordinary everyday woman who steps out looking like that in the morning?

I want to say ''Sweetie, you are pretty somewher underneath all that goss but men like to look at women not be horrified!!''

Why not just go natural. A clean face, some blush, a kohl pencil and some lipgloss would do the trick. Perfect to get an English Rose look. OOh.. pinching your cheeks would get them rosy incase your blush doesnt last!!

The saying 'blondes have more fun' hasnt worked for me so im goin natural....

Whats your style for today...???

I remember turning a page from Vogue and looking at the latest trends straight from London - the fashion capital of the world. Well, i wouldnt call it the fashion capital of the world but then why not, since everything Paris offers is just within your reach but not quite since its all haute couture, getting you all starry eye and giving you a rush that only a well tailored Chanel or a monogrammed Louis Vuitton can give you, with just the prices reminding you the mere mortal that you are. But London.... every street has a story to tell. Everyday, Anytime, Whatever the weather. Every other person on the street has a style of his/her own.

Today I am bottle blond with a big silly spotted bow on my head and stripe leggings under a mini black skirt teamed with a plain white tee and a boyfriend jacket. And to finish my look, black plimsoll and a louis vuitton bag which may or may not be authentic (now thats another issue we'll address later).

Whats your style for today....????
